YOGA

Mindfulness yoga incorporates the concept of moment-to-moment awareness without judgment into our movements and breath. It allows an internal experience of curiosity that reveals our thoughts, reactions and emotions. Mindfulness then creates space for us to choice how we want to think, feel and respond. We practice this way of being on the mat and cushion and then bring it to the rest of our life. Eventually, there is no difference between the mat and life and the cushion and life; it is all life.

Priscilla graduated from the Innerlight Yoga teacher-training in 2006 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT-200 level. She has studied with Sarah Powers, Tias Little, Jill Satterfield, Judith Lasater, and Patricia Sullivan and is qualified to teach a variety of classes, including vinyasa, yin, mindfulness yoga, restorative, guided relaxation, beginners yoga and mindful movement. An emphasis is placed on alignment, breath, mindfulness, with Buddhist philosophy weaved in to unify the body, mind, and spirit.
